Job Description Position Profile Position: MicroVellum Optimization Tech Reports To: Department Supervisor – Engineering Band: Production Associate Band P03 Location: Grants Pass, OR Operation: Semi-Custom Position Summary: The MicroVellum/Optimization tech is responsible for the administration, development, optimization, and support of the site's MicroVellum environment and related manufacturing data systems. This role serves as the technical owner of product configuration, tooling, post processors, machine programming, batching rules, material management, and data integration throughout the manufacturing process. The Tech partners closely with Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, IT, and equipment operators to ensure accurate product execution, efficient machine performance, successful new product launches, and continuous improvement of production processes. Supports the 4 Basics of our business: Safe and clean workplace, Quality at or above expectations, Complete on-time delivery, Fashionable products at a fair price. Exhibits the 6 for Success: Be trustworthy, Commit to your team, Listen to understand, Serve your customer, Prepare and plan, Deliver the result. Duties and Responsibilities Administer and maintain MicroVellum libraries, product catalogs, and site‐specific product offerings. Safely import, export, modify, and deploy products across multiple MicroVellum environments and site instances. Evaluate and troubleshoot product‐related defects and configuration issues. Validate product functionality prior to release into production. Required Education & Experience Some Experience preferred working with MicroVellum or similar manufacturing software platforms. Some Experience preferred supporting CNC manufacturing equipment and automated production systems. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Excellent communication skills with technical and non‐technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Work Environment Manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to wood dusts, and cabinet‐making related materials. Exposure to hot and cold elements due to non‐climate controlled environment. Wearing of Personal Protection Equipment required: eye and ear protection. Sensory/ Physical Requirements Sensory: Frequent speaking, hearing, near vision, far vision and touch. Physical: Frequent head/neck static position, rotation, flexion and extension. Frequent change in torso/back position, frequent stooping, bending and twisting. Frequent finger dexterity.
