Job Purpose:
- The CNC Programmer at CONAX TECHNOLOGIES LLC is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to ensure efficient and precise machining processes. This role is crucial in enhancing production capabilities and maintaining high-quality standards in manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring optimal tool paths and cycle times.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct simulations and tests to verify program accuracy and efficiency before implementation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
- Maintain detailed documentation of CNC programs and revisions for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in CNC programming and machining technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to machine operators to ensure proper execution of CNC programs.
