Position Summary
We are looking to hire a skilled CNC programmer to assess and maintain our CNC equipment. As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for reading and interpreting technical blueprints, inputting the design specifications, adjusting the machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final product. You may also be required to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
To ensure success as a CNC Programmer, you should have extensive experience working in manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work unsupervised. Ultimately, a top-class CNC programmer works quickly and efficiently, ensuring all products meet the specifications of the client.

Work Location: 6401 North Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77041
Position Responsibilities
  • Create CNC machine programs for production: Set up/ Qualify/ and ensure part conformance on various 5 Axis CNC machines.
  • May require some production operation
  • Prepare sequence logic for machining operations necessary for set up and production
  • Assist in the concept design of required tools and gages, support changes to existing tools and fixtures as improvements are identified.
  • Thorough understanding of G and M coding
  • Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and tool path application necessary to perform the operations.
  • Trouble shoot non-conformances derived from programming errors
  • Train setup technicians.
  • Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
  • Loading raw materials into the CNC machine.
  • Inputting the product design into the computer modeling software.
  • Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
  • Adjusting machine settings to the desired product specifications.
  • Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
  • Completing quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the final product.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
  • Training new staff on machine operation procedures.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma and two-year technical trade degree or completion of a machinist apprenticeship program. On Job Training (OJT) may be acceptable.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience programming, setting up, and operating 5 Axis CNC equipment
  • Must be fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check.

  • 10 years in CNC Multi Axis machining- application of proper machining strategies and techniques with superalloys, steel, stainless steel and forgings.
