In this position, you will contribute to Accelleron's Bolingbrook, IL Reman Center, by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of processes, focusing on the continuous improvement of operations to meet evolving needs of the business and its customers. Through the analysis of performance data, identification of inefficiencies, and the implementation of strategic solutions, you will support the organization in achieving its goals. This role involves collaboration with various Accelleron teams and departments to foster a culture of Safety, innovation and improvement to ultimately lead to increased productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities:

Projects
• Develop, lead, execute, sustain, and standardize process improvement projects to enhance productivity while meeting safety, quality, and cost targets.
• Build a pipeline of process improvement projects.
• Document and present improvement projects to the Management Team.
• Pilot and report on performance indicators in line with business and budgetary objectives.
• Defend investment budgets (CAPEX) for future improvement projects and support the BC build-up.
• Provide technical support to operational teams, including analyses, process development, equipment start-up, and training.
• Participate in brainstorming and mapping of new projects.
• Adapt to changing requirements, timelines, and expectations.
• Apply creative problem-solving and innovative approaches to resolve complex issues.
Continuous Improvement
• Responsible for the deployment and application of continuous improvement (including 5S) and problem-solving methods and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead improvement events (emphasis on Efficiency improvement, safety/ergonomics enhancement, Process Development and cost saving).
Health, Safety, and Integrity
• Applies and adheres to safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities in daily routine. Reports unsafe practices and incidents.
Your background:
• Engineering Degree +5 years of experience or combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of CAD systems, advanced Microsoft applications including SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Dynamics.
• CNC or automation background a plus.
• SAP S4/Hana or similar ERP systems knowledge preferred.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/remanufacturing preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams to implement projects and programs within the organization.
• Strong analytical skills using tools such as statistics, downtime tracking, mechanical history, project planning to identify opportunity areas.
• Initiates change and innovation in operations by influencing all levels of the company, to overcome resistance, find innovative ideas and solidify them with the implementation of improvements.
Compensation range for the role:
$86,800 - $119,350, plus bonus
