CNC Engineering Manager

Elk Grove Village, IL

Our global client is hiring a CNC Engineering Manager!

Responsibilities of the CNC Engineering Manager

  • Lead the engineering department and mentor less experienced CNC personnel, facilitate workloads and engineering priorities
  • Develop CNC engineering standards and technical documentation with your team
  • Apply your experience with CNC machining on any well-known brand of CNC machinery to train for setup and programming including DMG MORI, Mazak, Haas, Doosan, Fanuc, etc.
  • Lead the charge on the proper development of jigs, fixtures, cutting tools
  • Use your knowledge if any of Fanuc or Siemens CNC Controls and multi-axis machining and CNC machine tools
  • Put to use your CAM knowledge if any for MasterCAM, Siemens NX CAM, hyperMill, ESPRIT, GibbsCAM and any other similar platform

Requirements of the CNC Engineering Manager

  • Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required.
  • Ten or more years of full-time on the shop floor CNC machine tool leadership.
  • Excellent benefits and career growth potential!
  • Familiarity with CAD such as AutoCAD, Creo or SolidWorks along with MS Office including Excel is a plus

Compensation for the CNC Engineering Manager
