Shift: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Job Summary
Senior CNC programming role supporting aerospace and gas turbine manufacturing, focused on multi-axis machining, process optimization, and technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Create CNC programs from CAD models and engineering drawings
• Support production for aerospace and turbine components
• Work on 3, 4, 5-axis machines, lathes, EDM, and mill/turn equipment
• Assist in fixture design and tooling selection
• Validate programs through first article inspection and prototyping
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve efficiency/tool life
• Optimize and revise CNC programs for cycle time and accuracy
• Develop machining procedures and ensure program control
• Support design changes, cost improvements, and production challenges
• Train junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams

• CNC Programming (3/4/5-axis machining) - 7-12 years
• Siemens NX (5-axis milling) - 5+ years
• GibbsCAM (turning) - 3-5 years
• Aerospace / Power Generation machining - 7+ years
• CAD/CAM & 3D modeling - 5+ years
• GD&T & engineering drawings - 5+ years
• Process optimization & troubleshooting - 5+ years

Education / Experience
• A.A.S. in Machining / Machine Tool Technology or
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing / Aerospace Engineering
• Industry certifications in CNC programming preferred
