Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer proficient in Gibbs CAM to join our team. The ideal candidate will create, modify, and optimize complex toolpaths for 3, 4, and 5-axis mills, lathes, swiss machines and EDM to maximize production efficiency. Several positions are available. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, simulate, and verify CNC programs using GibbsCAM, ensuring collision detection.
  • Utilize advanced GibbsCAM features including HSM (High-Speed Machining), 5-axis, and multi-turret turning.
  • Work with shop personnel to troubleshoot setups and optimize post-processors.
  • Interpret complex blueprints, CAD models.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience programming CNC machines.
  • Expert proficiency in GibbsCAM is required.
  • Strong knowledge of G-code/M-code and machining principles.
  • Experience with solid modeling and importing CAD files.
  • Must be able to work on several types of controllers and machines which may include Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Hurco WinMax, Sodick EDM etc.
