Job description

CNC Programmer – Contract - Remote

Advance CNC Machining is looking for skilled CNC programmers to write quality CNC programs on a contract, job-by-job basis, working remotely. Expert level experience required.

Compensation TBD based on an hourly rate or per job.

You can work from home in your pajamas in this position! Hour's are extremely flexible as long as you are also available to make adjustments in a timely fashion. We’re just looking for people who we enjoy working with and who can write excellent CNC programs.

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

  • CNC programming using Mastercam 2027 for 4-axis and 5-axis horizontal and vertical Makino milling centers with automation
  • Fixture design, tool selection, setup sheets, and verification
  • Collaborating with Production and Quality groups to ensure we produce quality machined parts

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a CNC Programmer with the aptitude, willingness, and proactivity to excel in a fast-paced and growing manufacturing environment.

The skills needed:

  • Ability to write excellent CNC programs
  • Minimum of five years of Mastercam software experience for 4- and 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a CNC Setup Machinist
  • Experience with Vericut software is a plus
