Responsibilities:

Join DMH-USA, a trusted partner of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies, as a CNC Programmer / Setup Machinist. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines used to manufacture precision components from metal and/or plastic materials. The ideal candidate will be experienced in G-code and M-code programming, machine setup, tooling selection, process improvement, and quality verification to ensure efficient production and high-quality results.

  • Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code, M-code, and CAM software.

  • Set up CNC mills, lathes, routers, and other machining equipment for production runs.

  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T requirements, and work instructions.

  • Select and install tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices.

  • Establish machine offsets, tool lengths, and machine parameters.

  • Conduct first-piece inspections and verify product conformance to specifications.

  • Troubleshoot programming, tooling, machine, and quality issues.

  • Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of setup sheets, tooling requirements, programs, and process changes.

  • Train and support machine operators on setup requirements and production processes.

  • Ensure compliance with all company safety, quality, and environmental standards.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and basic machine upkeep as required.

  • Supports lean manufacturing through 5S methodology: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, Technical Training, or equivalent degree

  • 3+ years of CNC programming and machine setup experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.

  • Experience setting up CNC milling and/or turning equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining processes.

  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, indicators, and gauges.

  • Willingness and resilience to meet the physical demands of the position; lift up to 50 pounds and standing for 4or more hours at a time.

  • Basic English reading and speaking skills required to understand work instructions and safety information.

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and consistently changing environment

  • Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour (final offer within this range based on skills, experience, and internal equity)
