Pay Range:ย  47,840 to 58,240ย 

Job Summary

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role ensures quality, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules.

Job Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or routers) based on job requirements

Load raw materials and monitor machine operation during production runs

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

Perform in-process inspections using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)

Adjust machine offsets and settings to maintain tolerances

Identify and troubleshoot basic machining or program issues

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines

Document production data and report any quality or equipment issues

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required

1-3+ years CNC operating experience preferred but not required

Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T (preferred)

Familiarity with CNC controls (Fanuc, Haas, etc.) is a plus

Basic math and measurement skills

Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Manual dexterity for handling tools and materials

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise and machinery
