Job description

About the role
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team. The right candidate will be responsible for operating Citizen Swiss CNC lathes to manufacture precision components. This individual will have strong technical knowledge of CNC lathes, the fundamentals of machining, familiarity with metal cutting tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and specifications.
Compensation: $20-$27
Plus 10% shift differential!
What you will be doing
  • Interpret engineering blueprints and specifications to determine machining requirements.
  • Perform test runs to ensure that CNC programs are accurate and meet quality standards.
  • Optimize machining processes to improve quality, reduce cycle times, cut tooling costs, and simplify set-ups.
  • Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications and adjust as needed.
  • Inspect finished products to validate conformance to quality.
  • Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Run daily production, weight count parts, PM CNC equipment, keep a neat and organized work area.

About you
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a CNC Swiss lathe Operator
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, and cutting parameters.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, technical specifications, quality control documents, and GD&T.
  • Minimum of two years CNC Lathe operation experience-preferably with Citizen brand lathes.
  • Able to lift 40 lbs./18 kgs.
  • Safety and Quality conscious.
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar business software.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work together as a team member.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
