Job description

Adecco is recruiting for multiple Machine Operator positions with a client in Kirkville, NY. These are temp-to-hire positions, paying $17-19/hour+ depending on experience.

Positions on both first and second shift available - 4-day workweek, Mon-Thurs 10 hour shifts.

Your Role: Machine Operator
As a Machine Operator, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality precision parts that meet our customers' exacting standards. This is a great opportunity to build hands-on skills in a high-tech manufacturing environment, with the support of experienced mentors and a team-focused culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Load raw material into production machines and keep equipment running smoothly.

  • Monitor machine operations and report irregularities to senior staff.

  • Inspect parts according to quality plans to ensure they meet customer specs.

  • Document quality checks and production data accurately in our system.

  • Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure seamless transitions.

  • Move finished parts to designated areas after confirming quality.

  • Support the team by keeping your workspace clean, organized, and safe.

Grow With Us

  • Learn to make minor tool adjustments to maintain part quality.

  • Receive training in blueprint reading, precision measuring tools, and statistical process control (SPC).

  • Develop skills in machine maintenance and tool sharpening.

What You’ll Bring

  • A high school diploma or GED.

  • A strong desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing career.

  • Exposure to or interest in a factory or production environment.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and printing routing cards.

Physical Requirements

  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

  • Comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks throughout your shift.

  • Able to bend, crouch, and reach to handle parts and machine components.


Pay Details: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
