Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, load, and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multitasking CNC equipment)
  • Monitor multiple machines during production cycles to ensure efficient operation
  • Load and adjust programs as needed to maintain part quality and production flow
  • Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
  • Perform in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications
  • Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report major malfunctions to maintenance or supervisors
  • Maintain proper coolant levels, tooling condition, and machine cleanliness
  • Manage material loading, unloading, and part handling between machines
  • Follow all safety procedures and company quality standards
