Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and experienced Machine Operators to join our manufacturing warehouse team. This position is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. Ideal candidates will have previous experience working with industrial equipment and machinery in a fast-paced production environment.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential for long-term employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, monitor, and troubleshoot manufacturing machinery and production equipment
  • Perform machine adjustments and changeovers as needed for production runs
  • Load raw materials and remove finished products from machinery safely and efficiently
  • Inspect products during production to ensure quality standards are met
  • Monitor machine performance and report malfunctions or maintenance concerns immediately
  • Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Follow production schedules, work orders, and operating procedures
  • Accurately complete production logs, downtime reports, and quality documentation
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, GMPs, and OSHA regulations
  • Assist other departments or production lines as needed

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience operating manufacturing production machinery required
  • Experience with industrial equipment such as conveyors, fillers, packaging machines, presses, CNC machines, or automated production equipment preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures
  • Experience using measurement tools and performing quality inspections preferred
  • Forklift certification or experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing warehouse environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
  • Must be able to wear required PPE at all times
