Job description

Weekday 2nd Shift ($2 Shift Premium)

Join the team at BluePrint Engines, a rapidly growing, family-oriented manufacturing company based in Kearney, Nebraska. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill our CNC Operator- 2nd Shift role. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn and operate CNC machines in a clean, air-conditioned, and heated facility. No previous experience is required as we are committed to providing comprehensive training. If you have an eye for quality and a drive to learn, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities
  • Setting up, loading, adjusting, and operating CNC machines.
  • Supervising machines during program execution to ensure production of quality products and achievement of production targets.
  • Following work instructions to achieve desired results.
  • Performing daily checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure functionality.
  • Inspecting products using precision measuring tools, such as gauges.
  • Filling out required performance documentation such as production and quality control logs.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Qualifications
  • No previous CNC Machine Operating experience required.
  • Ability to learn the use of Precision Measuring Tools.
  • Basic Mathematical Skills.
  • Effective Communication Skills.
  • Mechanical ability.
  • Proficiency in the use of Hand Tools.
  • Time Management Skills.
Compensation
  • $21.50 - $26/hour (including $2 shift premium)
2nd Shift Full Time Position
  • 4 day work week - 12 hours
  • Monday - Thursday, 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
