Job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Turn Machinist to join our team. The Mill Turn Machinist is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC mill turn machines to produce high-quality medical instruments and implants. This position requires precision, strong attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

2nd Shift:Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM -or- 7:30 PM - 6:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

  • Set up, operate, and maintain mill turn machines, finishing equipment, hand tools, and fixtures; perform burr removal as needed.
  • Conduct machine setups, changeovers, and CNC program debugging, including adjustments and tool changes.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, inspection check sheets, and work instructions accurately.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, height stands, comparators, and other precision measurement tools.
  • Use ERP and machine monitoring systems to manage work orders, track production, and document quality checks electronically.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment required; CNC mill turn experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to set up, troubleshoot, and operate multi-axis CNC equipment.
