Job description

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs to manufacture complex components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to ensure that the programs meet all technical and quality requirements.
- Troubleshoot and adjust CNC programs to improve production quality and machine efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CNC machinery, tools, and software to ensure the effective implementation of programming techniques.
- Conduct regular inspections and testing of the machined components to verify adherence to design specifications.
- Document and maintain accurate records of programming, modifications, and performed adjustments.
- Provide training and guidance to machine operators on the shop floor regarding the proper execution of CNC programs.
- Continuously strive for improvements in existing processes to increase productivity and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

- Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery, controls, and tooling

- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (such as Mastercam, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks).

- Excellent understanding of GD&T and standard technical.

- Training in Lean Principles and Six Sigma

- Understanding of Process Flow, PFMEA

- Computer skills (MS Office - Excel, Word)

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Education:

- A degree or certification in CNC Programming, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

-Three to Five years of experience working with CNC Milling or CNC Lathes. Familiarity with Okuma, Speedio, Star or Tsugami machines preferred
