Job description

STS Technical Services is hiring a CNC Maintenance Technician in Brookfield, Wisconsin. This role supports Trace-A-Matic by helping keep precision manufacturing equipment running safely, efficiently and consistently.
Trace-A-Matic is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician II to join its skilled maintenance team. In this role, you will support facility uptime by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, repairing CNC machinery and supporting continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.
Relocation assistance is available.
Position Overview
The CNC Maintenance Technician plays a key role in maintaining production equipment and supporting day-to-day manufacturing requirements. This position troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic systems while working closely with maintenance, production and supervisory teams.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with advanced CNC troubleshooting skills, strong mechanical repair knowledge and hands-on experience supporting precision machining operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Actively participate as part of the maintenance team to help increase facility runtime
  • Support day-to-day production requirements to keep machinery running and producing parts in constant supply

  • Perform root cause analysis

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems on manufacturing equipment

Candidates should be comfortable working around machining operations, industrial equipment, overhead cranes, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, electrical components and active production areas.
