Job description

Position Summary:
Performs set-ups, operations, and minor maintenance of one or more CNC machining centers. Has attained full proficiency in machining operations. Able to make adjustments and measure parts effectively within .001"
Position Responsibilities:
  • Perform machine set-up/changeover on CNC and/or manual mills, lathes, and drill presses to produce the required product or components by making offset adjustments to meet product specifications
  • Perform first time set-up of equipment for new products through programming, tool setting, and offset adjustments. Must have good Quality awareness to identify discrepancies while machining.
  • Perform manual production operations as required, e.g., load and unload parts, deburr and clean if necessary.
  • Visually and dimensionally inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify proper workmanship standards are being met.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance activities in accordance with machine operation manual or machine maintenance work instructions.
  • Maintain neat and orderly work areas and comply with all safety rules. Follow 5S company standards.

Qualifications:
  • Due to U.S. export control laws and regulations (ITAR), applicants must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or otherwise qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.62). Employment is contingent upon verification of eligibility to access export-controlled information.
  • Must be available to work second shift core hours (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM), including overtime and weekend hours as needed to support production requirements.
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 5+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC and/or manual machining equipment
  • Must have ability to read and interpret blueprints or drawings, including GD&T
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

The base pay hiring rate expected for this position is: $20.31 - $29.45 hourly.
