Trésor Placement Agency Inc. is recruiting for one of its clients, a manufacturing company specializing in machining, a CNC Machine Operator/Setter for a permanent day or evening shift position.
Saint-Laurent
Salary: $25 to $35/hour depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Permanent position – full-time
French or English required
Your role
You will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and ensuring the proper operation of CNC machine tools, while maintaining quality and continuous production.
Responsibilities
  • Perform CNC machine setup and adjustments
  • Verify tooling and operational compliance
  • Ensure smooth production
  • Identify and resolve technical problems
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance
  • Read and interpret technical drawings
  • Collaborate with production and programming teams
  • Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

Desired Profile
  • DEP (Diploma of Vocational Studies) in machining or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of machining experience (CNC turning)
  • Experience with a Swiss lathe (an asset)
  • Good blueprint reading skills
  • Problem-solving skills
