Job description

We are looking for CNC Machine Set-up Technician Temp to Perm person. Pay rate is $25-$30 based on experience.
Job Duties
Assist the machine shop manager and programmers in setting up and running jobs. We have a machine shop with sophisticated HAAS and Matsuura Machining centers (10 mills and 1 lathe) with 5 axis and pallet changing capabilities. You will work with our QC department to ensure parts meet customer requirements. The ability to program, design and make fixtures is preferred
• Understand how to set up and machine castings and hog outs.
• Strong organizational skills
• Have experience with vertical and horizontal mills.
• Experience with lathes is a plus
• Understand GD&T call outs and requirements.
• Confer with engineering, supervisory, and manufacturing personnel to exchange technical information.
• Understand programming of HAAS CNC machines a plus
• Experience using CAM software a plus
• Experience designing and creating fixtures a plus
• Experience with AS9100 a plus
• Bi-lingual a plus
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC setup experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with vertical and horizontal machining centers.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge
