Job description


Job Title: CNC Lathe Set Up/Operator
Location: New Britain CT
Shift: 7am-3:30pm
Shift: 3:30pm - 11:30pm
A locally owned and operated manufacturing company in New Britain CT is hiring for the following:
1st shift: CNC Lathe Setup Operator
  • Must be able to set up and operate CNC Lathe equipment located in the CNC Lathe Department including Nakamura
  • Must be able to work independently using prints, work instructions and be able to use and understand all measuring and gauging tools.
  • Responsible for quality of all products

Second Shift CNC Machine Set up operators.
Experience with Mills, Lathes and Swiss Screw is desirable.
Knowledge of basic program editing, adjust feeds and speeds, ability to change tooling required.
Ability to inspect first pieces and read blue prints and schematics a plus.
All positions are temp to hire. Pay is DOE. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
