Position Summary:

AAA USA is seeking experienced Machinists to support manufacturing, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and production operations for a variety of customers across multiple industries and locations throughout the United States.


The ideal candidate will have experience operating manual and/or CNC machine tools to manufacture, modify, repair, rebuild, or maintain precision components while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards.


Essential Functions:

  • Set up and operate manual and/or CNC machine tools, including mills, lathes, grinders, boring mills, and other machining equipment.
  • Manufacture, machine, repair, modify, or rebuild precision components and assemblies to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and technical manuals.
  • Perform precision measurements and inspections using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, gauges, and other measuring equipment.
  • Verify dimensional accuracy and maintain required tolerances throughout the machining process.
  • Determine appropriate machining methods, tooling, machine setup, and sequencing to produce quality components.
  • Perform equipment setup, alignment, adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine machine maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all company and customer safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance personnel to support manufacturing objectives.
  • Complete required production, inspection, and quality documentation accurately and timely.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of machinist experience in one or more of the following industries:
    • Aerospace
    • Defense
    • Marine or Shipbuilding
    • Ground Transportation or Rail
    • Industrial Manufacturing
    • Metal Fabrication
    • Or another precision manufacturing environment


  • Experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
  • Working knowledge of precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and various shifts as required.
