Program Precision Components That Power Critical Industries

As a CNC Programmer, you'll develop and optimize programs used to manufacture precision flow control components found in aerospace, defense, nuclear, industrial and scientific applications. What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Create and optimize CNC programs using Mastercam
  • Program 2-axis and 3-axis milling and turning operations
  • Work directly with Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, Production Control and machine operators to support production goals
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and part specifications
  • Select tooling, cutting strategies and workholding solutions for new and existing jobs
  • Develop setup sheets and maintain program revisions
  • Conduct first-run prove-outs independently or alongside machine operators
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and revise programs to improve quality, efficiency and cycle times
  • Help maintain production schedules by supporting manufacturing priorities

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Experience selecting tooling, fixtures and machining strategies
  • Experience proving out new programs on the shop floor
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work closely with operators, engineers and production leadership
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must meet U.S. Persons requirements

Preferred

  • Technical school, trade school or college education
  • SolidWorks experience
  • Experience programming Okuma, Haas and Mazak machining centers
  • Experience supporting aerospace or high-precision manufacturing
