Job description

Start your new career as a Machine Operator with MAU at our client in Clemson, SC. As a Machine Operator, you will maximize efficiency through setups and operation of a group of clearing, fluting, and point grinding machines to complete customer orders. What We Offer

  • $20.50 - $21.00 per hour plus $2 shift differential after first shift training
  • Second Shift | 3:00 PM -11:30 PM
  • Third Shift | 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 3+ year(s) of experience in production machinery setup and operation required
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills and exposure to CNC machinery
  • Capacity to comprehend, follow instructions, multi-task, and work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Capacity to stand and walk for the duration of the shift, utilize excellent visual acuity (corrected) and manual dexterity, wear required PPE, and lift 50 pounds

What You'll Do as a Machine Operator

  • Set up and operate various production machinery to complete customer orders according to blueprint specifications
  • Run a bank of machines, owning changeovers and setups
  • Ensure quality and production goals are achieved
  • Operate grinders
  • Move materials as needed
  • Establish good housekeeping practices and maintain Environmental, Quality, and Quantity (EQQ) requirements
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
