Position Summary

As the Machine Operator, you will be responsible for set-up and operation of the Break Press and Roll machine to produce products meeting customer quality requirements. You are also responsible for the proper selection of materials, programming of parts, material handling pre and post operation, and the final quality of the parts. Take pride and ownership of all duties as if the company was your own and keep the customer’s interests in mind which may include working overtime as needed. Maintain and promote a positive attitude and work environment.

Schedule: 5 AM to 1 PM Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and operate CNC machine to perform tasks
  • Understanding specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading production orders
  • Translating instructions into computer commands so the machine can perform the correct functions
  • Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines
  • Maintain high levels of quality in all tasks performed
  • Move material using the forklift, overhead crane, pallet jack and vacuum lift
  • Must work as a team and contribute to each other’s success. This includes collaborating and working together, across all departments, on identifying and resolving issues together to accomplish assigned tasks
  • Perform equipment maintenance
  • Palletize finished product
  • Prolonged standing, climbing, reaching, bending, and lifting
  • Able to withstand vibrations associated with using power tools
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines
  • Complies with all safety rules and regulations
  • Ensure work areas are clean and orderly
  • Perform other duties as assigned
