Advanced Machine & Engineering is a diversified manufacturing ย company that designs, builds, & delivers carbide sawing systems, ย custom work holding solutions, & automation solutions for a variety ย of industries. ย ย We are looking for full time, 1st shift Machine Maintenance Mechanic. ย The ideal candidate is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining CNC machinery and production equipment to support safe and efficient manufacturing operations. This role requires strong hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical troubleshooting abilities and plays a critical role in minimizing equipment downtime and maintaining reliable production operations.

ย Job Responsibilities ย ย 

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on CNC machines and other production equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CNC machine alarms and fault codes to restore equipment to normal operation
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs to reduce unplanned equipment downtime
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, equipment manuals, and technical documentation
  • Assist with general building maintenance, including basic repairs and upkeep of facility systems
  • Support HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
  • Perform welding and pipe fitting tasks as required
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance team members to prioritize and complete repairs
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, parts usage, and repair documentation
  • Follow all company safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required; technical or maintenance-related training preferred

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery, including machine alarm and fault diagnosis, required


Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Strong CNC machine troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve CNC alarms and equipment faults
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Welding and pipe fitting experience preferred

Physical Demands:
