Centex Machine by Fathom is looking for an outstanding Milling machinist candidate for our 1st shift to continue to grow and expand our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and Operation of CNC Milling machine centers
  • MDI (Manual Data Input) programming, using G-code editing
  • Inspection using manual gauges and instruments
  • Understanding of GD&T and ability to read 2-D drawings
  • Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
  • Observe all company quality and safety procedures
  • Communicates and collaborates with team members in the sharing of information and solving technical issues
  • Participates in Lean and 6S manufacturing events    

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong work ethic and high attention to detail  
  • Flexible, ability to work in a fast-pace team environment  
  • Able to manage sensitive and sometimes confidential information  
  • Great communication skills
  • Mazak conversational programming and operation a plus
  • Knowledge of tooling and tooling requirements
  • Must read and write English
