Toyota Motor Manufacturing West Virginia (TMMWV) is seeking Multi-Skilled Maintenance Team Members for its facility in Buffalo, West Virginia.
TMMWV's skilled maintenance personnel support the production, quality, cost and safety goals of the manufacturing operation. All skilled maintenance personnel will have responsibility for preventive maintenance, highly technical process and equipment improvements, and effective troubleshooting.
Our Selection process requires candidates to participate in computer based technical testing.
  • Multi-skilled persons and machinist/tool makers are highly desired.
  • Post-secondary Vocational or Technical Education in Fluid Power, Electricity, Electronics, Mechanical Drives, Machinist, and/or Engineering is preferred.

Successful candidates enter a 24 Month Job Knowledge Program regardless of prior experience and/or education.
  • Skilled Team Member New Hire enters a 24 Month Job Knowledge Program
  • Skilled Maintenance Team Member New Hire must pass HandsOn & Floor Performance Test for each competency for continued employment.
  • TMMWV Skilled Maintenance 24 Month Job Knowledge Program Details:

Job Knowledge Training in four (4) competencies:
  • 1. Electrical/Systems
  • 2. PLC/Systems
  • 3. Fluid Power/Systems
  • 4. Mechanical/Systems

Qualification Requirements:
Two or more years of industrial hands-on experience OR relevant degree in one or more of the following is required:
  • Electricity
  • Hydraulics/Pneumatics
  • PLCs in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Mechanical Drives
  • CNC Operations
  • Machine Tool Practices

Must be willing to:
  • Work any shift
  • Work Overtime and travel as needed (may include some weekend work)
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Pass background check and drug screening
