Job description

* CNC programming, set up & operation of CNC Vertical Mills for standard & custom parts
* Set-up and break-down of machining centers as well as scheduling PM and cleaning
* Knowledge of trouble shooting machines
* Create schedules for machining centers based on production schedule
* Train and oversee machine operators
* Must be familiar with steel and aluminum
* Work on other shop equipment such as manual mills, press-brake, saws, lathe, drills, etc.
* Draw, read and interpret prints, plans, sketches, and shop drawings.
* Work with designers and management to achieve customers' satisfaction.
* Maintain a high level of production while maintaining quality
* Responding to quick turnaround orders; Some overtime required
* Performing well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
* Maintain clean equipment and work area
* Forklift certified preferred
* Perform related duties, as assigned
* Trade school graduate, or equivalent.
* 5+ years of programming experience with CNC Vertical Machining Centers
* Knowledge of Auto CAD, Solidworks and MasterCam
* Knowledge of wood & Plexiglas a plus
* Strong knowledge of shop practices and skill in using shop tools and equipment.
* Ability to ACCURATELY read tape measure & blueprints and translate into fabricated products using fractions & decimal places
* Experience with Laminates and veneers a plus
* Must have reliable transportation
* Sufficient strength and physical dexterity to perform related duties and responsibilities of this job, including lifting up to 75 lbs.
