⚙️ What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Program, set up, and operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs), CNC lathes, and horizontal machines
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs to improve cycle time and efficiency
- Machine castings and ensure proper workholding and stability
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Select tooling, establish offsets, and verify setups
- Perform first-article and in-process inspections
- Troubleshoot programming, setup, and machining issues independently
- Help oversee daily shop operations and support other machinists
- Maintain safety, quality, and production standards
This role requires someone who can think ahead, solve problems, and lead by example on the shop floor.
