Job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various types and brands of CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components, ensuring the seamless operation of our CNC machinery.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic components on CNC equipment.
  • Address issues with electric motors, ball screws, spindle heads, gearboxes, hydraulic components, pneumatic components, process control units, and feedback devices.
  • Disconnect electrical and hydraulic power sources, diagnose problems, and execute necessary repairs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities, including lubrication, bearing replacement, and other routine tasks on CNC machines.
  • Interact with manufacturers’ parts and service departments for assistance as needed.
  • Perform basic operation of CNC machines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in CNC maintenance.
  • Ability to articulate basic electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic principles applicable to electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing CNC machinery.
  • Proficiency in PLC, CNC, and test equipment repair procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic, problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and ability to work well in a team.
  • Physical ability to lift/push/pull objects up to 65 lbs.
