Job description

Responsible for the operation of CNC Mill Machine that uses a cutting process to rough mill the minor axis of tips. Remove excess material surrounding the cup. $2500 sign-on bonus!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and program machines, using calipers to measure the width of the cup and the outer diameter of the stock.
  • Load workpiece in machine, align the longer side of the cup with a Machinist Square
  • Close door and run part
  • Clean part to remove any coolant
  • Measure piece using dial calipers, checking length and width of the cup to work order instructions
  • Run first piece, get First Piece Inspection

Qualifications and requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong mechanical and technical abilities/experience
  • Be willing to freely move amongst all cell machines as workload demands
  • Ability to read blueprints and routings

  • CNC Machine Setup & Changeover
