Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
Job Description
This role focuses on setting up, operating, and editing G&M code on a CNC mill that machines aluminum parts and also functions as a saw. You will work on a single Emmegi CNC machine, performing multiple daily setups, running production jobs, and ensuring parts meet quality standards through precise measurement and inspection.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate a CNC mill that machines aluminum parts and performs cutting operations, specifically an Emmegi CNC machine.
- Perform between 1 and 5 machine setups per day to support production requirements.
- Run production-based machining jobs with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and repeatability.
- Edit G&M code directly at the machine to optimize programs and address machining issues.
- Use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers to verify part dimensions.
- Conduct quality inspections of machined parts to ensure they meet required specifications.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make appropriate tooling changes as needed.
- Utilize the ERP system to track jobs, enter data, and follow production workflows.
- Collaborate with a small CNC team to support daily production goals and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of experience running a CNC mill in a production environment.
- Minimum 1 year of experience editing G&M code directly at the machine.
- Hands-on experience setting up CNC mills, including tooling and workholding.
- Proficiency using tape measures and calipers for precise measurement.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints for machining aluminum parts.
- Experience performing troubleshooting and tooling changes on CNC equipment.
- Ability to work with and navigate an ERP system for production tracking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Emmegi CNC mills or similar CNC machinery.
- in production-based machining of aluminum components.
- Comfort working in a smaller CNC department and collaborating closely with a team of machinists.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality inspection processes.
- Willingness to learn new equipment and automation technologies as they are introduced.

Work Environment
This position operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Thursday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime available on Fridays for 8 hours. Training is provided on day shift. You will work in a large manufacturing facility within a small machining department of three other team members, using CNC mills, measurement tools, and an ERP system in a production-focused setting. Personal protective equipment, including steel-toe footwear and safety eye protection, is required to ensure a safe working environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48796.00 - $70387.00/yr.
