CNC Machinist | West Jordan, UT


Looking for a stable career instead of just another job? Nexeo Staffing is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and adjusting CNC lathe offsets, setting up and maintaining production equipment, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC lathes efficiently and make precise offset adjustments as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production and quality standards.
  • Set up and configure machinery for production runs.
  • Perform measurements and calculations to verify setup accuracy before production.
  • Measure and record dimensions using Vernier calipers, outside micrometers, and inside micrometers.
  • Program and enter CNC codes to establish feed rates, cutting speeds, and toolpaths.
  • Perform routine maintenance to keep equipment operating at peak performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of CNC lathe experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong ability to read blueprints and perform precise measurements and calculations.
  • Experience using precision measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Preferred: Experience with manual lathes, CNC mills, or multi-axis machining equipment.


Pay

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour


Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM
