Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined individual with basic metal shop experience to join our team as a CNC Machine Operator Assistant. This role involves handling and maneuvering large metal sheets on and off CNC machines, as well as grinding and sanding sharp edges on various materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machinery to process metal sheets according to specifications
  • Grind and sand sharp edges using power grinders, sanders, and other hand tools
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including wearing required PPE (safety glasses, mask, etc.) at all times
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and fullbody mobility
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area by sweeping, removing debris, and keeping the shop tidy
  • Adhere to all shop safety regulations and wear designated safety equipment
