Job description

Talento Search Group has an opening for a CNC Programmer in Alabaster, Alabama. This is a direct-hire position and it's working in an air conditioned environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Plan machining operation by reviewing blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and machining parameters
  • Machine materials to customer specifications
  • Program machines 
  • Change tooling, setup machines, transfer commands to CNC modules
  • operate CNC machines, and insert control instructions
  • Review program specifications to set machine parameters
  • Modify cutting programs
  • Control coolant systems and maintain machines
  • Clean machines
  • Perform manual machining on manual lathes, drill presses, and mills


Experience Needed:

  • At least 5 years of CNC machining experience
  • Must have CNC programming experience
  • Experience with Milltonics MB20 CNC is preferred
  • Apprenticeship or technical degree in CNC Machining is preferred
