Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate patient care and assist with basic medical tasks as a CNA.

  • Monitor and record vital signs, activity, and condition changes accurately.

  • Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information per regulations.

  • Maintain clean, safe, and secure inmate-care environments following protocols.

  • Document care plans and progress in patient records with attention to detail.

  • Collaborate with healthcare team to escalate concerns and adjust care as needed.

  • Adhere to correctional facility policies while delivering respectful, patient-centered care.

  • Assist with daily living activities and mobility support to improve patient outcomes.

  • Support quality improvement initiatives by contributing data and feedback on processes.

  • Demonstrate reliability by meeting shift commitments and achieving individual targets.

  • Assist in discharge planning and coordinate with families or guardians when appropriate.


Experience/Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license with active status
