What You'll Do
  • Perform field testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, masonry, and other construction materials.
  • Conduct construction materials testing in accordance with ASTM, ACI, ICC, and GDOT standards.
  • Perform reinforcing steel (rebar) inspections.
  • Support commercial, industrial, transportation, and infrastructure projects.
  • Operate nuclear density gauges, compression machines, coring equipment, and other testing equipment.
  • Prepare accurate field reports and inspection documentation.
  • Communicate with contractors, engineers, project managers, and clients.
  • Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

What We're Looking For
Required
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Preferred
Current certifications in one or more of the following:
  • GDOT Roadway Testing Technician (RTT)
  • ICC Special Inspector
  • Reinforcing Steel (Rebar)
  • ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I
  • Nuclear Density Gauge
  • NICET

Experience with GDOT transportation projects is highly preferred.
