What is a CMT driver?

CMT drivers are professionals who operate commercial motor trucks to transport goods and materials between locations. They are responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of cargo, adhering to traffic laws, and maintaining their vehicles in good working condition. CMT drivers may work for logistics companies, manufacturers, or as independent contractors. Their duties often involve long hours on the road, loading and unloading freight, and completing necessary paperwork for shipments.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be a CMT driver?

These skills and qualities are crucial for ensuring safety, timely deliveries, and compliance with industry standards.

What challenges do CMT drivers face, and how can they be managed?
