The CMMS System Architect will define and teach the architectural vision for emaint, ensuring that the system architecture meets organizational needs and integrates seamlessly with other systems while collaborating with stakeholders and providing technical guidance to development teams.
Responsibilities:
โข Help define and teach the architectural vision for emaint
โข Ensure CMMS architecture meets organizational needs
โข Collaborate with emaint users to understand appropriate requirements
โข Optimize system performance and integrate with other systems as needed
โข Evaluate technology and recommend solutions for strategic system functionality and integration
โข Function as the gatekeeper for all emaint workflows, configurations, statuses, and coding
โข Perform Maintenance & Reliability Department work order post-approvals
โข Oversee, identify the pertinence of, and execute NCRs, CAPAs, and Change Controls associated with eMaint on behalf of the Maintenance and Reliability Department
โข Create, revise, and manage emaint-related SOPs, and Standard Work Instructions
โข Be the primary stakeholder in charge of report and dashboard creation, configuration, and dissemination for data captured in eMaint
โข Lead the design, strategic development, and continuous improvement of all eMaint architecture.
โข Define and teach system components and interfaces to meet business requirements.
โข Develop scalable and reusable integration frameworks for all eMaint applications.
โข Design, document, and manage configuration spec. integration workflows for seamless data exchange.
โข Collaborate with technical teams to implement integrations with ERP and other third-party systems, as necessary.
โข Evaluate, recommend, and implement integration tools and platforms.
โข Engage with stakeholders and affected employees to understand requirements and define use cases for departmental system needs.
โข Work cross-functionally with business and technical teams to ensure strategic and executional alignment.
โข Provide system technical guidance and support to appropriate development teams.
โข Monitor and improve system performance, ensuring scalability, reliability, and best practice adherence.
โข Conduct usability and feasibility system and sandbox tests to verify maximally efficient user experience and system functionality.
โข Implement best practices for system design, functionality, and integration.
โข Prepare detailed documentation and reports pertaining to system architecture and integration processes.
โข Maintain records of design operations, decisions and justifications, and system mapping.
โข Consistently update senior management on the progress of system development and design, ROI-based system functional streamlining, and system integration, as necessary.

Qualifications:
Required:
โข Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
โข Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in systems architecture integrations
โข Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience of deploying and/or overseeing Fluke emaint CMMS
โข Expertise in SQL and Visual Fox Pro
โข Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred:
โข Expertise in C++, Python, and JavaScript
โข At least two (2) years of experience as an emaint (CMMS) System Administrator
โข Proven experience with emaint (CMMS)
โข Familiarity with low-code/no-code integration tools
โข Demonstrated understanding of maintenance and reliability engineering CMMS functionalities including preventive, predictive, reactive maintenance, MRO Inventory, labor management, work order management, reporting and analysis etc.
โข Superior understanding of software design principles, design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts
โข Demonstrated understanding of product management and modern product delivery processes
โข General understanding of DevSecOps principles
โข General familiarity with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services
โข Practical knowledge and experience with cloud, SAAS, on-prem applications, hardware, and processes and an understanding of how these systems integrate with other third-party systems
โข Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as encryption, hashing, certificates, PKIs, Threat Modeling, secure coding, and OWASP
โข Practical knowledge and experience with JIRA, Signavio
