Join a thriving outpatient oncology practice with FirstHealth of the Carolinas. We are seeking a compassionate Hematologist/Oncologist to become part of our dedicated cancer care team in Sanford, North Carolina. This is a rewarding opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-focused environment-without the burden of inpatient call.
Position Highlights
About the Opportunity:
  • Outpatient-only schedule - no inpatient consults or hospital rounds.
  • Established referral base with consistent patient flow.
  • Team-based care: supported by an experienced NP, RN, CMA, and full admin staff.
  • Infusion suite on site with chemo-certified nurses.
  • Access to system-wide support including specialty pharmacy, nurse navigators, and integrative medicine.
  • Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards for collaborative case reviews.
  • Clinical trials support is available if interested in research. Our clinical trials program received the Gold Seal Award from SCOR and NCI.

Qualifications
  • Completion of ACGME- or AOA-approved residency and fellowship programs and board certification.
