Club Sport Director Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Position Title: Head Coach, Premier Club Sports 

Department: Intercollegiate Athletics

Reports to: Premier Club Sport Director

Appointment: Part-time; 20 hours per week (12-month position)

Status: Exempt

Job Summary:

Bradley recently launched a Premier Club Sports division, offering an exciting opportunity for passionate and driven individuals to help build and elevate the club sport of STUNT (AKA - Women’s Competitive Cheer) to competitive success within the sport league or conference.

Working collaboratively with club leadership and the Premier Club Sport Director, the Head Coach will provide leadership, mentorship, and day-to-day management of the team while enhancing the student’s overall college experience. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Proven ability to work effectively with students and campus partners to support recruiting and program development.
• Experience with fundraising and program advancement efforts.
• Available to work evenings and weekends. (Most games occur Friday and Saturday).
• Demonstrated experience working with college-age students. (Preferred)
• Must hold or be willing to obtain required coaching certifications in accordance with league and university compliance standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills with a commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and competitive team culture.  

Benefits:

• This is a part-time, stipend position
• CPR and AED certification will be provided and required.

Responsibilities:

• This position reports directly to Premier Club Sport Director.
• Sufficient time will be given to the following:
  • Develop and implement effective practice plans, game strategies, and overall team management approaches to enhance team performance.
  • Focus on player development by providing individual and group instruction to improve skills, conditioning, and game awareness.
  • Assist in identifying and recruiting talented athletes; attend competitive events and evaluate prospective student-athletes in collaboration with the Enrollment Management - (Essential).
  • Manage the team during competition, making real-time strategic decisions and ensuring clear communication among athletes.
  • Promote athlete safety, support injury prevention and management, and foster student development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
  • Oversee logistical operations including scheduling, travel, equipment management, budgeting, and compliance with university and league regulations, in coordination with the Premier Club Sport Director.
  • Represent the program at community and university events, fostering positive public relations and building visibility and support for the team
