Who We Are: Minnesota United FC (MNUFC) is a professional soccer club competing in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier of soccer in North America. As a club driven by passion and community, we operate under the oversight of the U.S. Soccer Federation, a member of FIFA. Our headquarters are in Golden Valley, MN, with soccer operations based at the MNUFC Training Center in Blaine. On matchdays, we call Allianz Field in St. Paul home-one of the premier soccer-specific stadiums in the country.
Position: The Facility Maintenance Coordinator is part of the Stadium Operations department for Minnesota United FC (MNUFC), a sports business located in the Twins Cities area of Minnesota and a member of Major League Soccer (MLS), the top tier soccer league in North America.
Position Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Coordinator will provide a mechanical aptitude to ensure safe and efficient building maintenance practices are being followed at Allianz Field. This position will support all maintenance activities before, during, and after stadium events, responding to breakdowns and repairs to equipment, along with daily responsibilities related to supporting the maintenance of building systems and collaborating with other departments.
This full-time position is based at Allianz Field in St. Paul, MN, reporting to Manager, Facility Maintenance.

What You'll Do:
  • HVAC troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on split systems, fan coil units, energy recovery ventilators, variable air volumes, roof top units, exhaust fans, boilers, etc.
  • Complete work order requests from CMMS system in a timely and efficient manner, aid in troubleshooting and repairing issues such as power loss and faulty circuits, LED driver replacements, leaks and unpleasant odors, toilets, urinals, sinks, flush controls, broken seats and other furniture, etc.
  • Through daily facility inspections, proactively seek world class standards such as patch, paint, lighting replacements, repairs to doors, windows, drywall, etc.
  • Prioritize in-bound service requests within the centralized CMMS system, identifying capabilities of in-house resources and the need for third-party contractors.
  • Monitor building automation systems to ensure proper set point ranges, settings, and comfort levels are met for all guests, staff, and players.
  • Support part-time Stadium Operations Staff during event days as needed for facility operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation through the CMMS related to completing tasks, progress of work orders, inventory of supplies and equipment, and expenses related to building infrastructure and equipment.
  • Assures Company complies with building codes, city, state and federal safety and environmental laws, codes, standards and regulations.
  • Periodically perform small maintenance tasks at the Training Facility in Blaine, MN such as faucet and shower head replacements, picture hanging, etc.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
  • At least 1-3 years of experience within a facility maintenance setting. Experience working in a sports and entertainment facility a plus.
  • Knowledge of mechanical & electrical components and systems along with procedures related to installation, start-up, and repair of equipment in a commercial facility.
  • Comprehension of basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry trades.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a team environment.
  • Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to accomplish goals under strict timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently seek proactive solutions to problems and situations before and/or after they arise.
  • MN Boilers license is preferred.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed, standing and walking for long periods of time
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Valid driver's license
Compensation and Benefits: Minnesota United FC values the contributions of our team members and is committed to transparency in our compensation practices. The annual salary range for this (exempt) position is $50,000 - $55,000.
