Job Summary:


As a Procurement Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the procurement process within our organization. You will be responsible for assisting the purchasing department in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring goods and services necessary for our operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.


Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential suppliers and vendors for various goods and services required by the organization.
  • Conduct research to evaluate suppliers' reliability, pricing, and product quality.
  • Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate terms and pricing agreements.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
  • Assist in the creation, processing, and tracking of purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate specifications and quantities for purchases.
  • Monitor purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and monitoring stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the inventory management team to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to manage lead times and optimize inventory turnover.
  • Maintain organized records of purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Assist in preparing reports and analyses related to purchasing activities as required
  • Liaise with various departments such as finance, logistics, and operations to ensure alignment on purchasing needs and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency in purchasing operations.
  • Travel to other CLS Health clinics
  • Perform other duties assigned

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and experience with procurement software or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
