Summary:
The Cloud Administrator will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing Goldbelt's cloud-based infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in cloud services, security, and automation, with an emphasis on maintaining high levels of system availability, performance, and security across multiple cloud platforms. As a Cloud Administrator, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions into our business processes, maintain cost-effective solutions, and continuously improve our cloud infrastructure to support our growing needs.
This is an onsite position in Juneau, AK relocation expenses are not being considered at this time.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain the company's cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, SaaS) to ensure optimal performance and scalability
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure security and compliance by monitoring access, usage, and resources
  • System Backups and Recovery: Perform system backups and recovery to maintain data integrity and availability
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support for cloud applications and services, and train end users as needed
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT security teams to monitor the company's cloud privacy and respond to technical issues in a timely and efficient manner

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's of Science in Information Technology, or equivalent years of experience
  • Minimum of five years in Information Technology
  • Proven experience in cloud administration, with expertise Azure and other SaaS applications
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check
  • Must be able to support core hours of 8am to 5pm AK time (Alaskan Time)
  • Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six or more years of experience in support of Azure Cloud
  • Certified in AZ-500, MS-500, MS-700, AZ-104, or SC-400 or equivalent certification or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Certified as an Azure Administrator Associate, MS-102 Administrator Expert, or equivalent certifications
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CISM, or equivalent certifications
  • Experience and adherence to compliance frameworks: (CMMC Level 2, GovHigh, 32CFR, CUI, FedRAMP, NIST-800, PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH, SOC 1 & SOC 2) and internal security best practices
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
  • Local candidates and Shareholders of Goldbelt are strongly preferred
  • Experience working with 8(a) companies
  • Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
  • Previous government contracting experience

Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $100,200 to $130,000 annually.
