Work for an Award Winning Company Culture!

Are you an independent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitude? Are you passionate about giving back to your community? Do you want to work for a company that we like to think as the "happiest place in mortgage" and has been voted a "Best Place to Work" for the last 17 years? Join our family at Homeowners Financial Group and you can take advantage of our great benefits.

Benefits:

  • Award-Winning Company Culture
  • Employee volunteer opportunities
  • 10 paid holidays

  • Ancillary Benefits include: Mutual of Omaha, MetLaw Legal Plan, Pet Benefit Solutions
  • 401k with discretionary match
  • Employee tenure program
  • President's Club eligibility for both Sales and Operations staff

Who We Are: Homeowners Financial Group has over 300 employees in 41 offices across the country and has helped tens of thousands of homeowners realize home ownership. We are not your typical mortgage company: we foster a "family" environment, we give back to the community through dozens of charities and we love what we do!

Who We Want: We want a Cloud Support Associate that is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and reliability of Homeowners IT infrastructure. This role serves as a senior escalation point for the Help Desk, manages Azure Cloud and network infrastructure, administers backup and disaster recovery systems, and supports branch office technology setup and decommissioning. The role also partners with and assists the Solutions Architect on Azure-based infrastructure initiatives, providing hands-on implementation support for cloud projects and gaining growth exposure to architecture-level work.

Essential Duties:

  • Hybrid schedule working a minimum of 2 days per week from the Corporate office
  • Administers hybrid cloud IaaS resources in Microsoft Azure (virtual machines, storage, virtual networks, resource groups) in coordination with the Solutions Architect
  • Serves as Tier 2/3 escalation point for Help Desk tickets involving network, systems, and infrastructure issues
  • Manages LAN/WAN network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, wireless, and DNS/DHCP
  • Configures, monitors, and maintains backup and disaster recovery systems; validates recoverability against defined objectives
  • Coordinates and executes technology setup and teardown for branch office openings and closings, including network circuits, hardware provisioning, and workstation deployment
  • Assists the Solutions Architect with implementation of infrastructure designs, proof-of-concepts, and cloud migration tasks
  • Performs routine monitoring, patching, and security hardening of servers and network devices
  • Maintains accurate documentation: network diagrams, runbooks, asset inventories, and standard operating procedures
  • Participates in an on-call rotation for infrastructure incidents outside business hours
  • Participates in Homeowners internal meetings and required trainings
  • Maintains a professional image and demonstrates an understanding of and follows all Homeowners Policies and Procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent discipline preferred
  • 1+ years of experience in systems administration, network administration, or infrastructure support
  • Hands-on experience administering virtual environments
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure IaaS (virtual machines, storage, networking) and Entra ID fundamentals
  • Experience with backup and disaster recovery procedures
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, VPN, and DNS/DHCP
  • Windows Server administration experience
  • Experience supporting multi-site or branch office environments preferred
  • Certifications a plus: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), VMware VCP, CompTIA Network+ or CCNA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with AI technology
  • Strong customer service skills to internal and external customers
  • Ability to develop positive relationships
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel locally to branch offices as needed for openings and closings
  • Must be able to implement written procedures
  • Independent, self-starting, team player with a positive attitude
