What We're Looking For:

This position is part of Cloud Engineering team, to support analysis and troubling shooting skills with attention to details. The Cloud Support Engineer will be responsible for the monitoring and timely escalation of all events notification that will arise during their working shift. Cloud Support Engineer will also be active in the execution of all the manual tasks according to its schedule.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diligently observe and interpret cloud monitoring dashboards and alerts.

  • Resolve basic issues; escalate urgent and complex issues.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and sometimes with customers.

  • Be aware of customer SLA's and escalate issues if cases are taking too long to resolve.

  • Document all troubleshooting and issue management actions via the electronic casemanagement system.

  • Monitoring case backlog to ensure we meet agreed SLAs with customers and internal KPItargets; share regular status reports with stakeholders.

  • Be able to work in a variety of different shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays tosupport a 24X7X365 environment. Shifts may fluctuate to meet business and staffing needs.

  • Assists team to install and troubleshoot server and non-desktop computer hardware, software, systems and other resources in a data center or other centralized computer network setting.

  • May work with the team to support access control, data integrity, and file system security for the computer/data center environment.

  • Assists to monitor, track and record system performance and utilization of metrics.

  • Works with a team to participate in the development of information technology and infrastructure projects which support on/off premise and Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions.

  • May be internal or external, client-focused, working in conjunction with Professional Services and outsourcing functions.

  • Works to support company-wide, web-enabled and cloud-technology solutions.

This position requires hybrid work (3 days/week in office) in the Holtsville, NY or Lincolnshire, IL office.

This role is expected to start earliest June 2027.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a Zebra Technologies internship

  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, web services, networking, Data bases, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP).

  • Understanding of the following monitoring concepts: Infrastructure, systems, and application health, system availability, latency, performance, and end-to-end monitoring.

  • Knowledge of Markup, query, and scripting languages, including Python, HTML, SQL and familiarity with REST API calls, and PowerShell.

  • Knowledge with ITIL processes including incident, problem, change, knowledge and event management.

  • Enry level cloud, network or security certificate from Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, CompTIA, or other well-known vendors.

Pay Range:

$54,640.00 - $81,960.00 Annual

Incentive Compensation:

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 5% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
