About the role:

Under the supervision of the FT&S Oracle Security & Infrastructure Manager, the intermediate functional Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of the Oracle Fusion applications and the various modules within our organisation. This role involves technical implementation and maintenance of security policies, managing risks and ensuring that the Oracle Cloud environments adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices.

In addition, the intermediate functional analyst will be actively involved in the financial transformation of Intact Finance ecosystem by participating in different phases of the transformation projects, in the design & configurations of new security controls and profiles of the multiple Oracle Cloud applications, aligning with security compliance as required. The intermediate functional Analyst will also have to support and collaborate with the various partners / stakeholders to ensure proper governance, monitoring and security compliance.

What you'll do here:

As part of the maintenance of cloud applications under the FT&S ownership, the intermediate functional analyst will work closely with the senior functional analysts, the Finance & IT teams:

  • Be a member of the Oracle Cloud Security & Infrastructure team, support security issues for finance users, partners, and stakeholders, and provide guidance/solutions on Oracle Fusion security profiles, IAM architecture, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.

  • Be responsible for understanding, maintaining, and configuring finance user security profiles, ensuring compliance with audit requirements for change management and segregation of duties.

  • Prepare and execute defined test cases (unit/SIT/UAT); record results, defects, and test evidence, related to Security profiles.

  • Participate in defect-fix cycles: reproduce security-related incidents, document them, track progress, and re-test in collaboration with functional teams.

  • Help maintain a knowledge base (articles, FAQs) as well as standard operating procedures (SOPs).

  • Collaborates with internal and external auditors on the processes and controls carried out on the applications as an administrator.

  • Understands business and systems processes, as well as master the different data flows.

What you bring to the table:

  • University degree or certification in business, accounting, finance, information technology or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Knowledge and experience (ex Oracle Certifications) of Oracle Cloud applications ERP & EPM and OCI, we consider this as major assets.

  • Able to communicate with ease and are able to interact with both technical and finance stakeholders; that's more than an asset we want you on our team.

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in Finance and / or Information Technology.

  • Experience with IAM and Cybersecurity and Finance business concepts.

  • Analytical mind and pragmatic approach to issues and problems is what we are looking for.

  • Need for self-training and committment to training and maintaining your technical & business competencies.

  • Positive attitude and great team spirit.

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
