  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, clinics, pharmacies, and insurance companies to resolve authorization issues.
  • Manage real-time clinic chats and respond promptly to questions and action items.
  • Document all activity accurately and maintain complete patient records.
  • Protect confidential patient information and follow applicable pharmacy and healthcare regulations.
  • Meet established performance expectations, including patient turnaround times, accuracy, and other department metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and the patient experience.
  • Assist with other team responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • Active Texas Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing.
  • Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy terminology, prescription medications, insurance processes, and prior authorizations.
  • Previous prior authorization, specialty pharmacy, retail pharmacy, or healthcare experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A patient-focused approach and the ability to explain complex information clearly.
  • Excellent organization, follow-up, and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Comfort learning and navigating multiple software platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Ability to remain professional and solution-focused in a high-volume environment.
Schedule and Work Location

This is a full-time, 100% onsite position in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Team members must be available to work a standard 8.5-hour shift scheduled between our operating hours of 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. CST.
